The Garden year
My 2026 project is to create one portrait a month based on each month's birth flower. My work is primarily medieval fantasy so I want to explore different medieval “characters” like knights, jesters, and princesses and use the symbolism of each month's flower to help inform what the characters look like. The goal is to create one a month for the entire year to mark the months passing and see how my work changes through the year (“The Garden Year”).

Ruling planets (2025)
In 2025 I entered my astrology era and was spending a lot of time doing memes on Twitter about my Big 3 (your Big 3 as Pantone Color Palettes, Pedro Pascal Characters, Pictures of Cats etc). Around the same time, NASA released a lot of beautiful, high definition photos of the planets in our solar system. These two events merged in my brain and I decided to do portraits of each planet to match the sign they're associated with. It was a great project to do while in a bit of an art slump and I love how they all look together.
Garden quilt (2024)
"Inspired by two island activities: gardening and quilting, Garden Quilt is a celebration of the crafts that bind us together. Whether it's a quilt sewn together with friends, or a basket of veggies from the garden, Islanders will always gather to share the fruits of their labors."My first public exhibition! I submitted this for the 2024 Charlottetown, PEI Lightbox Exhibition and seeing it lit up in downtown Charlottetown was AMAZING!
